Tip #3 Advertise Your Product or Service on Your Website

Creating a personal website is paramount to having a successful MLM business. There are easy tutorials to help you do this. As you become more technically proficient you can add videos that let visitors know you better or to give a demonstration.

Be sure there is a place where you ask for their name and email address so that you can contact them personally.  Have a “freebie”, a tip, or a bit of information that you can share “just with them” so that they will give you their email address. 

Then keep in touch several times a week, sharing something else that is new and exciting about your business.  But don’t overdo it. Isn’t it annoying to have your inbox full of unsolicited emails? They won’t like it either.

Also look at how much support the parent company gives you. There should be ongoing training and support, including personal contact. If you have never sold anything before, there are key strategies that will bring you success.

Tip # 4 Keep in Touch with Your Downline

Once you have recruited someone, you cannot just sit back and assume your commissions will come rolling in.  If anything, your work becomes harder, because you have become their anchor, their support, the person they turn to when they are discouraged, or the one they want to tell about their success. 

Maintaining contact lets them know that you really do care about them, and even if it is just a couple of up-beat “happy thoughts” in an email, they have been touched by you.

Tip #5 Use Skype for Ongoing Training

You don’t have to have weekly meetings in a location. Telephone conferencing and Skype are the easiest way for imparting information, and letting members feel that they are part of the group. This builds loyalty and a sense of community that will keep them with you.
